Angela C. Ragland

Angela C. Ragland, 78 passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, in Racine, WI Angela was born to Anthony and Ann Cuccia of Racine, WI. Angela attended and graduated from St. Catherine’s High School and later a graduate of College of DuPage. Angela lived a happy, healthy, active life enjoying entertaining friends and family, cooking and baking and crafting. Angela mostly enjoyed decorating and hosting for holidays. In May of 2002 Angela married Harold Ragland in Winfield, IL. Angela retired from Fleetwood Inc. in 2007 soon after her retirement, her and Harold moved to Mesa, AZ in 2008. In 2022 Angela moved back to Racine, WI to be closer to her family. Angela joined and became an active member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. One of Angela’s highlights was to take the pilgrimage trip to Spain and Portugal in 2023. Angela met many friends through St. Paul that she truly loved and adored. Angela is survived by her Daughter Ann (Joe) Arneson, her son Timothy Friedeck. Stepdaughters Denise Denges, Christina (Steve) Voss and Stepson Harold Jr. (Lisa) Ragland. Grandchildren; Alli (Matt) Siemer, Xander Ortiz, and Anthony Ortiz. Step-Grandchildren; Justin (Daisy) Ragland, Stephanie Ragland. Great Grandchildren; Garrison, Maddox, Lawson and Callaway Siemer. Justin Jr. and Audrey Ragland. Sister Kathleen Cuccia, her best friend Bessie Jeffries. Proceeded in death by her husband Harold Ragland, her Sister Cammie Sprague and Son-in-law Don Denges. We wish to thank the several friends and family members that helped and cared for Angela. A special thank you to Mary Rath, John Bartell, Dawn Kucerak, Karen Amendola, Gayle Titus, Colette and Bruce Kraeuter, Deacon Keith and Fr. Dennis Beltre. Thank you to Ascension All Saints Cancer Center Staff, and Dr. Young M. Choi for the phenomenal care. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant, WI or to the American Cancer Association. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Parish on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 11 a.m. There will be a visitation at Sturino Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of Mass. Angela will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Angela's funeral mass will be lived streamed on St. Paul's the Apostle Parish, Racine, WI Facebook.
