Genevieve "Jenny" Novak

Genevieve “Jenny” Novak MONTELLO-Genevieve “Jenny” (nee: Zebrowski) Novak, 69, formerly of Racine, passed away at Tivoli Nursing Home in Portage on Tuesday, May, 1, 2012. Jenny was born in Oneida County on June 17, 1942, the daughter of the late, Stanley and Edna (nee: Borg) Zebrowski. She was a graduate of Three Lakes High School “Class of 1960”. Jenny was united in marriage to Myron “Mike” Novak on June 3, 1967 in Racine. She was employed at Southern Colony for ten years and the owner and operator of Nature Glen Motel in Westfield for ten years. Jenny found great enjoyment in gardening, cooking, fishing, reading, jigsaw puzzles, and a good game of cribbage. Most of all Jenny found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was known for her forward style of communication which was overshadowed by her loving and caring personality. Jenny is survived by her loving husband of almost 45 years, Myron “Mike” Novak of Montello, three children, Diane (Jay) Eltrevoog of Wisconsin Dells, Michael Polinske of Milwaukee, Kim (Brian Kudela) Novak of Rock Springs, four grandchildren, Brittany Byers, Alyssa Byers, Eric Eltrevoog, and Ayden Kudela. She is furthered survived by two step children, Wendy (Robin) Draves, Myron “Buddy” Novak, two sisters, Marian (Buster) Henningfield, Ann Ludwig, and one brother, Donald Zebrowski all of Union Grove. Jenny is furthered survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends in Racine and Montello. She was preceded in death by her parents, one step-daughter, Laurie Novak- Simmons, and brothers and sisters, Stanley Zebrowski, Louise Pasnowski, her twin brother, John Zebrowski and Richard Zebrowski. Funeral services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 12 noon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until service time. She will be laid to rest at Bohemian National Cemetery following services. Jenny’s family would like to take this opportunity to express their gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Ira Kastenberg, the entire Tivoli Nursing Home staff and especially nurse Dean for their loving and attentive care shown to the Novak family over the past several months.
