Margaret May Drew RACINE - Margaret May (Ulerich) Drew, 83, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Health Care-All Saints on Saturday, May 4, 2013 with her family by her side. Margaret was born in Logansport, Indiana on July 9, 1929, the daughter of the late Harold and Violet (nee: Metzger) Ulerich. She was united in marriage to David Drew on June 19, 1949 in Indiana. From Indiana Margaret and David moved to Milwaukee in 1951. In 1963 they relocated to Racine to raise their family and make this area their home. She was an avid walker, rummage sale and estate sale enthusiast, and gardener. More than anything, Margaret loved and lived for her family which she always cared for until the very end. Margaret is survived by her children, Michael (Sue) Drew, Daniel (Barbara) Drew, Robert (Nancy) Drew, Jaime Crisci, Margy (Dean) Raymond and Charles Drew all of the Racine area. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joshua, Alissa, Tricia, Jessica, Robert, Nicolle, Antonette, Cheserae, Sophia, Devin, Marissa, Samantha, Jennifer, Jade, Megan and Joseph. Margaret is further survived by 11 great grandchildren with two on the way, in addition to nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, David in 1992, one daughter, Mona in 2008, two brothers, James and Mason. Margaret’s memorial service will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 7 p.m. She will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Forest Hill Cemetery in South Milwaukee next to her husband and daughter. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until service time at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Margaret in a special way may direct memorials to The American Diabetes Association, Milwaukee Office, 2323 N. The entire Drew family takes this opportunity to publicly express their profound gratitude to the entire staff at Wheaton Franciscan Health Care, especially Dr. Catherall, the nursing staff, nurses,Jason, Jennifer, Holly, Michelle, Pat and the Cardiac ICU unit for their thorough and attentive care and gentle manner shown to our mother Margaret.
