Patricia Grace Miller

RACINE - Patricia Grace (nee: Krahn) Miller, 93, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at St. Monica’s Senior Living. Patricia was born in Racine on March 14, 1931, the daughter of the late Arthur and Jesslyn (nee: Hawley) Krahn. She was a 1949 graduate of St. Catherine's High School. On June 2, 1951, she was united in marriage to Gilbert Roland Miller at St. John Nepomuk Church, and they enjoyed 58 beautiful years together until the love of her life passed away on August 21, 2009. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Patricia adored her family and will be dearly missed by them. She truly cherished time spent with all of her loved ones. Patricia worked as a bookkeeper and receptionist for Miller's Flowers, Meyers Racine Monument Works, Racine County, and RUSD lunch program. Surviving are her daughters, Nancy (John) McGrath of Greer, SC, Jill (Mark) Felch-Garvin of Marinette, WI, and Alison (Steve) Mrkvicka of Racine, WI; grandsons, Jonathan (Kate) McGrath, Jeramy Felch, Aaron (Danielle) Felch, and Steven Mrkvicka; granddaughters, Kristen Mrkvicka, Jennifer Lubatti, Teresa McGrath, and Rebecca Felch; great grandsons, Vincent and Dominic Lubatti, and Levi Felch; great granddaughters, Alexia (Seth) Scholzen, Myah Caron, Olivia Felch, Layla Newbury, and Mary Grace, Anne, Elizabeth, and Juliana McGrath; and great-great granddaughter, Emery Scholzen. She is further survived by her brother-in-law, Arnold Miller, Jr., many dear nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Arthur and sisters, Jesslyn and Virginia. Some of her many hobbies included traveling with her husband around the U.S., playing bingo and poker, crossword puzzles, playing Yahtzee and Rook, cooking and trips to Potawatomi. She was best known for her favorite pie crust and blonde brownies. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with her family at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Patricia’s honor may be made to the American Lung Association, the Tobacco Free Coalition or St. Monica’s Senior Living.
