Ronald L. Ceccarini June 8, 1937 – May 28, 2025 Ronald L. Ceccarini, age 87, of Caledonia, Wisconsin, formerly of Cudahy, Wisconsin, was reunited with his beloved wife, Patsy “Patty” (née Pederson), on May 28, 2025—nine months to the day after her passing following a courageous battle with cancer. Though Ronald faced multiple health challenges, including congestive heart failure, type 1 diabetes, and stage 4 kidney failure, his loved ones believe he ultimately left us from a broken heart. After Patty’s passing, Ronald spent his final months living with his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Lori Ceccarini. Surrounded by love and care, he found comfort and purpose in family life, and was especially hopeful to see the garden and flowers come to life with the new season. Ronald is survived by his devoted son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Lori Ceccarini; his daughter, Sheryl Morrison; his stepchildren, Michael Kumbera, Earl Kumbera, and Tina Rehak; and many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and brothers-in-law. Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he was stationed on special assignment in Africa. A skilled marksman and Morse code specialist, he carried his discipline and commitment into his civilian life. He spent 40 years at Wrought Washer Manufacturing, Inc. in Milwaukee, beginning by sweeping the floors and working his way up to become the Manufacturing and Tooling Manager—a career he was deeply proud of. It was there that he met the love of his life, Patty. Ronnie had a lifelong love for fishing, cooking, gardening, music, football, racing, and John Wayne films. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, deep love for family, and a life lived with dignity, purpose, and heart. He is now reunited in peace with his sister, Nancy (Ceccarini) Gingras; his mother, Corinne (Moretto) Ceccarini; his father, Lindy Ceccarini; and his late step-son, Jeffery Berna. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, 13207 County Road G, Caledonia, WI. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m., until the time of Mass. Ronald will be laid to rest with full military honors at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
