RACINE – Joseph “Joey” W. Nelson, 64 passed away at Ascension All Saints Hospital on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Joey was born on September 21, 1957 to Louis “Joe” and Virginia (nee: Ross) Nelson. He is survived by his mother, Virginia; brothers, Mike (JoAnn) Nelson, Matt (Sharon) Nelson, Mark (Jeannine) Nelson and Joel (Becky) Nelson. Further survived by 12 nieces and nephews, 5 great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends. Joey is preceded in death by his father Joe on April 9, 2010. In keeping with Joey’s wishes, there will be no services.
