Charles R. Evans FRANKSVILLE-Charles Raymond “Chuck” Evans, 74, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital, Milwaukee, on Monday, October 8, 2012 with his family by his side. Chuck was born in Darlington, Wisconsin on December 10, 1937 the son of the late John and Irene (nee: Wonders) Evans. He was a graduate of Shullsburg High School “Class of 1956 “. Chuck was united in marriage to Marjorie Kitsemble in Nashua, Iowa on March 25, 1961. He was employed at James Cape & Sons as a superintendant, retiring in 2001 after 44 years of service. Chuck enjoyed hunting and fishing with his kids and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved simple days fishing on the water and the peace that it brought to him. We will all miss hearing his voice, having him fishing by our sides, his little jokes, his dancing on the dance floor, his blue eyes and his great smile. He cherished each and every grandchild he had and always was eager to spend time with them, laugh with them and hear of their accomplishments. They were his life. He was a good father to us all. We love you Dad, though you are gone from earth and are now in Heaven, you will forever be in our hearts! Chuck is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marjorie, three sons, Mark Raymond (Cathy) Evans, of Montrose, Colorado, Randal Charles (Laura) Evans of Waupaca, Darin Lee (Tricia) Evans of Mt. Pleasant, and one daughter, Tracie Marie (Haje) Korth of Sykesville, Maryland. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Chad and Travis Evans (Mark), MaKenna and Calder Evans (Randal), Abbey, Lexie and Ethan Evans (Darin), Kendalyn and Stephanie Korth (Tracie), 1 sister, Joan McGrary, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and special cousins Eldon and Sandy Evans, Ronald and Marie Wonders, and special friends Leroy Behrens, Roy and Pat Radke and many other friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his mother in 2003 and his father in 1956. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life at the memorial services on Sunday, October 28, 2012, 1:00 pm at Yorkville United Methodist Church, 17645 Old Yorkville Road, Union Grove, WI 53182 with Pastor Sue Lieh and Chuck’s cousin Pastor Frank Evans officiating. Private interment will take place in West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Cardiovascular Research Foundation and the American Diabetes Foundation have been suggested by the family.
