Frankie Joseph Giampietro

Frankie J. Giampietro KENOSHA-Frankie Joseph Giampietro, 18, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his residence on May 30, 2013. Frankie was born in Kenosha on July 12, 1994 the son of Joe and Teri (nee: Lipscomb) Giampietro. He was a graduate of Tremper High School “Class of 2012”, was active with the marketing club and participated in summer marching bands, K-L through Band of the Black Watch. During his years of education, Frankie earned placement in National Junior Honor Society while attending Lincoln Middle School and was a proud member of the UWM non major band. His diligent work earned him being placed on The Dean’s list his first semester at The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He found great enjoyment in his music and the many instruments he played, ranging from alto and tenor saxophone, guitar, piano, drums and bass. Frankie was in several rock bands with his friends playing public shows. He had a strong will to perform, and entertain those around him. Frankie’s first job was at the Kenosha Drive-In. Frankie worked at Panera, and his last position was delivering subs for Cousin’s in Milwaukee, while attending and maintaining a full schedule at college. He was majoring in Marketing at UWM. Frankie is survived by his parents, Joe and Teri Giampietro, one brother, Chandler and one sister, Cameron, who had the best brother ever, grandparents, Wayne and Mary Giampietro of Lincolnshire, IL and Frank and Lois Lipscomb of Normal, IL. He is further survived by aunts and uncles, Dawn Smith, Cyndi (Jeff) King, Tony Giampietro and Marc Giampietro, his beloved canine companions, Kona and Skates, along with many, many dear friends in Kenosha and throughout the Southeast Wisconsin area. Frankie was preceded in death by his uncle Rich Smith. Funeral services honoring and celebrating Frankie’s life will be held at Kenosha Bible Church, 5405 67th Street, Kenosha, WI 53142, on Wednesday June 5, 2013 at 7 p.m. with Rev. Dean Carlson officiating. Frankie will be laid to rest in a private ceremony following services. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until service time at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Frankie in a special way may direct memorials to, Music Department for Scholarship Instruments at Lincoln Middle School, 6729 18th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53143.
